Ukraine day 1

Welcome to Ukraine Days 2019!

The first day of the event will take place in Stockholm City Museum (Stockholm, Slussen)

First panel discussion: “Ukraine since Maidan: Continuity and Change” (18.00-19.30)

The panel focuses on the democratic developments in Ukraine since 2014. In the last five years Ukraine experienced a few drastic changes: it became a victim of Russian military aggression, experienced transformations in its foreign policy, failed in some reforms and succeeded in other reforms.
What awaits Ukraine in this context? Are positive transformations and newly established democratic institutions here to survive? Is the nearest future of Ukraine is a future of a democratic country? Are there any dangerous developments that may hinder democratic development in Ukraine?
