Young Women, Conflict and Peace – Exploring UN Security Council Resolution 2250
To mark the International Day of the Girl, we invite you to "Girls in the shadow of conflict" a panel discussion exploring the voices and experiences of girls and young women in conflict and peacebuilding.
Three experts will share their perspectives and discuss the five pillars of UN Security Council Resolution 2250: Participation, Protection, Prevention, Partnership, and Disengagement & Reintegration.
What opportunities do girls have to make their voices heard? What barriers do they face, and what role can they play in building peace?
