This is the course for our table saw in the wood workshop.
Content
The course consists of
- A video course
- An online quiz
- A physical self-study task at the makerspace
- A physical test with a course leader.
Prerequisites
- You must have used a table saw a decent amount before. This is the reduced version for knowledgeable members. If you are new to a table saw, you should take a different course variant.
- Take the online fire safety course
- Take the online table saw course
- Perform a self-study session at the makerspace BEFORE the physical course. See descriptions in the online table saw course above
Physical Test
Since you are a somewhat experienced table saw user, you'll only do a short physical test, instead of a full physical course. You'll be asked to perform a few cuts, to see how you handle it, and you'll be allowed time to ask the course leader questions.
Please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before the course starts.
Language
The course will be held in Swedish or English, depending on what the course participants prefer.
As usual, you need to be a member of Stockholm Makerspace to attend our courses.
