Introduction to Autodesk Fusion 360

Perhaps you would like to start designing things to 3D print? Or more complex structures to cut and fit together on the laser? Or maybe the CNC seems alluring. For all of those things, the CAD software Fusion 360 is an excellent tool.

This course aims to get you started with that program. I'll walk through different functions within the software and how to use it to design 3D objects, some basics on how to organize your files, and of course what limitations it has.

Language: English
Meeting place: AWL kitchen on the first floor.

Requirements
You should be prepared with the following things:
  • A laptop capable of running Fusion.
  • Have Fusion downloaded and have opened it and logged in at least once to make sure it works. Fusion for personal use is a great and free option.
  • Be capable at navigating through computer programs.
The course will not wait for you to download your programs, nor do I expect to teach someone how to open a menu in a program.

If you want to get a head start, here's a video to check out.

Please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before the course starts.

As usual, you are required to be a member of Stockholm Makerspace to participate in our courses. You must also be registered through this registration page on Simplesignup in order to take the course.
