Dear members and textile enthusiasts, we look forward welcoming you to Silkeborg, Denmark in the beautiful Central Jutland for exciting days with lectures, workshops, workshop- and museum-visits and exchange of experiences across national borders.


The conference begins Thursday morning ont the 10th of April, where we'll meet at Silkeborg station, and ends on Sunday the 13th of April at noon. 

We have booked the entire Danhostel Silkeborg and are accommodated into rooms for 2, 3 or 4 persons. If you would like to share your room with a specific person, please send an e-mail to Sisse (see below).

The conference fee is SEK 3,700, and covers workshop, lectures, entrance fees, transportation and all meals (except dinner on Friday evening). Drinks other than water are at your own expense.

Thursday 10 April

Visit to Kjellerup weaving mill, Skals - college of design and handicraft, ceramicist Helle Bovbjerg.

Friday 11 April

Workshop visit by Eva Seidenfaden willow weaving. Visit to Museum Jorn and Silkeborg Bad/ Arttapestry7 exhibition.

Saturday 12 April

Workshops choose between Paper plissé with Marianne T. Pedersen, willow weaving with Eva Seidenfarden, Origami at the Papirmuseet and Sprang technique with Johanne Høgh.

Visit to the paper museum and Museum Silkeborg with Tollundmanden.

Artist talk by weaver and textileartist Sanne Ransby.

Celebration dinner at Danhostel. Bring on your favorite textile conversation piece.
