Applying for Funding

Financing a cultural project can turn well-crafted daydreams into tangible reality, but how do you proceed? How much time is it reasonable to spend on your application? Do I need to know what the project will lead to before I know if I will receive funding? As many as one in four applications (according to some grant providers) are deemed invalid due to missing crucial information. If your project funding application is correct and well-prepared, your chances of receiving a grant increase. So, what information are the grant providers looking for?

Ludvig Nilson and Ottie Marusarz runs REDAN Galleri in Malmö, and in this lecture, they will share their experiences of applying for project funding.

By the end of this lecture you will know:
- What an application looks like
- How you can use the application form as an engine for your project
- How to organize the numbers in the budget
- What the grant providers are seeking

STPLN offers coffee/tea and cinnamon buns.
The lecture is conducted in English and is free of charge.
