Navigating the complex world of creativity isn’t just about mastering your art; it's equally about mastering the market. For contemporary artists, playwrights, poets, sound designers, performance artists and alike, balancing the intricate dance of administration, time management, and creative expression is no small feat. Yet, making your voice heard amid the cacophony of the creative industry is essential.

In this open lecture, we delve deep into the essence of effective self-promotion that aligns with your artistic integrity. We'll explore the nuances that distinguish communication, marketing, and branding — not just as business terms, but as vital tools for creatives to forge meaningful connections with their audience without compromising your vision. This lecture comes in two sessions (May 14 and May 21, same time) and is designed to be participatory and explorative with individual homework assignments and workshop elements. When you sign up, you do so for both sessions. 

Workshop leader is Fredric Öslöf and this is how he self promotes: 
"I guide creatives in articulating their narratives without diluting their artistry. At Hyper Island, I teach the craft of branding and storytelling to help people and brands tell their story. My goal is to help you articulate your narrative without compromising your artistry. Together we will create a game plan for how to organize your communication efforts and set up individual goals."
