Burns Night in Karlstad 27th of January

The Anglo-Swedish Society in Karlstad invite you to celebrate Burns Night (with an English tang) on Thursday 27th of January at 1900.
Robbie Burns is Scotland's National Poet.
Burns Night traditionally consists of:
- enjoying some haggis - Scottish national dish
- enjoying some of Burns poems and songs
- some Scottish dancing to take part in.
We will have a piper piping in our haggis (and tatties and neeps!), a taster of this delicacy, as well as a main course - Fish and Chips the English way - AND some songs from John Mccaffrey and Paddy Power. Time and interest permitting there will be some dancing too. And of course, a great chance to socialize!
Members: 125:- per person and a 10:- reduction on your first bar order
Non-members: 230:- per person
Members pay on the night, non-members pay in advance.
You must enrol by 1200 on the 24th of January.
