Student Tour 2023 - Mining Safari in Bergslagen

The Student Tour is for bachelor and master students at Swedish universities from year two and up. The tour will be held in English. Everything is free of charge, including transportation, accomodation and meals.

Held this year on September 11-14 (September 10th and14th are travel days). The tour ends with the event Mining@ORU September 14. Return travel will be directly after the event.

Planned route: Örebro-Västerås-Sala-Garpenberg-Stråssa-Zinkgruvan-Tiveden-Örebro and Mining@ORU

Overall theme: Sustainability and Innovation

This year’s focus areas: water, geology, enivironment, biodiversity, AI and VR.

There are a limited number of spots and there will be a selection process. It will partly be based on the applicant's motivation for why they want to participate, but we will also strive for an even gender distribution and make the selection with an inclusive approach.
